Professor Li-Ping Guo from Peking University Health Science Center will discuss what Peking University Health Science Center teaches medical students and students of health sciences under the medical humanities umbrella and their efforts to improve and make medical practice more humane.

Professor Li-Ping Guo will address the question: What do the terms humanities, specifically medical humanities, mean in the Chinese context? Professor Guo will discuss what Peking University Health Science Center teaches medical students and students of health sciences under the medical humanities umbrella. She will conclude with examples of how medical humanities education in China seeks to improve and make medical practice more humane.
